History:
Handcrafted in Morocco by skilled women, these pillows are made from a unique material – vegetable silk derived from aloe vera, also known as cactus silk. The process involves crushing, soaking, and pressing the plant leaves, then spinning and dyeing the resulting threads with natural dyes. This age-old technique has been passed down for centuries.

Each pillow reflects the creativity and craftsmanship of its maker. Women select from about five traditional Moroccan motifs, all symbolizing positive themes such as home and fertility, and choose their own thread combinations for embroidery. With this artistic approach, every pillow is one-of-a-kind, carrying the warmth and individuality of handcrafted work.
